Magda attended college in Melbourne, Australia. While best known for her role in the "Babe" films, her credits include writing, producing, and directing as well. Some of her "best bits" from the series Fast Forward were collected onto a commercial video, "Magda: The Best of Magda Szubanski". She is also featured in the book, "Comedians in the Mist".
