Gigi was raised on a commune by her mother, Jenny; her father is a famous concert promoter, Michael Edgley. She received a B.A. in Drama from Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Academy of the Arts. In addition to acting, she is skilled in circus arts, including wire work and fire twirling.
